FAQ
What's the difference between inquiry and auction?
Online inquiry lets buyers submit private offers and sellers decide whether to accept. Key differences from auctions: (1) no public bidding — offers are private; (2) seller may accept or reject any offer; (3) no fixed increment; (4) no minimum participants; (5) platform sets no deposit. This is a price negotiation service, not an auction.
What if the equipment can't be transferred?
Equipment ownership sources vary. Some equipment may lack registration certificates, be lease-acquired, or have transfer restrictions. Sellers must disclose ownership source and known restrictions on the listing page. Buyers should verify transfer and registration feasibility with local agricultural authorities before placing an offer. All risks arising from inability to transfer or register are borne by the buyer. Unless the seller has concealed or misrepresented facts, the buyer may not use incomplete title documents as grounds to rescind the contract or claim damages.
How is equipment quality ensured?
Sellers must disclose known flaws on the listing page (such as missing parts, cosmetic damage, functional defects, etc.). Equipment is sold as-is. The seller is not liable for defects discoverable by reasonable inspection, but remains liable for major defects known or should-have-been-known and not disclosed, as well as losses caused by intentional concealment or misrepresentation. If hidden defects are found after delivery, the buyer must notify the seller in writing within the agreed period.
Is a deposit required?
The platform does not require deposits. Any earnest money is agreed between buyer and seller directly — the platform does not collect, verify, or hold funds. Unlike auctions, deposits here are a commercial arrangement between parties.
What about liability for breach?
Liability is mutual. Buyer late payment: deposit (if any) forfeited + contract cancelled + 6-month restriction. Seller non-delivery: full refund + 5-10% penalty + actual losses. Title fraud or concealed defects: buyer may cancel and claim damages.
Are there service fees after closing?
This feature is an information and price-inquiry matching service. It charges no transaction service fees, commissions, or closing fees. Membership and AI valuation fees are value-added information service fees, For value-added services such as auctions, the applicable fees are published on the respective service page. Buyers and sellers complete transactions and payments per their contract.
